讨论开始后首先亮出自己的观点，不仅可以给面试官留下较深的印象，而且还有可能引导面试者的思想和见解，使自己的观点得到大家的认可，逐步成为本组的主导或核心人物。当自己的观点表述完以后，还应认真听取别人的意见和看法，取长补短，为自己的观点进行补充和完善。
在试图说服对方的时候要掌握适当的时机，不要在对方情绪激动时去说服他改变观点。在情绪激动时，大多数人的情感多于理智，过于逼迫反而可能使其更加坚持原有的观点，做出过火的行为，造成更难以改变的结果。待对方表述完毕，情绪稍缓和时再去说服对方改变观点会收到比较好的效果。面试者在表述时也要注意控制情绪，不要造成讨论过程中自身的言语不当。
发言的时候能设身处地地站在对方立场上考虑问题，理解对方的观点，在此基础上，找出彼此的共同点，引导对方尽量接受自己的观点。讨论过程中态度要诚恳，用词要准确，不要出现过激的词语，表述的言语要真实可信，通过有技巧的说话让其他考生对你产生认可和信赖，从而能够在讨论过程中获得其他面试者的肯定，逐步成为本组的主导。
陈述过程中多记录其他面试者的观点和意见，找到能为我所用之处;在表述时尽量把答题时间控制在一分半内，避免过于冗长造成其他面试者的反感；要抓住重点，言简意赅地表述自己的观点和建议，加深面试官的印象。
有人认为说出那些很流行的网络语言，或者那种所谓的很另类的流行词语，便会缩小同他人的距离，他们把宅在家中叫做"屌丝"、"宅男宅女"，或者借用甄嬛体等流行语。如果想让自己在表述过程中与别人稍显不同，可以用一些家常性的语言，这样还可以增加彼此的亲切感，更能拉近彼此的距离。
外语和方言是有时候能显现出讲话者的某种能力，有时候能体现出幽默。但是假如有人听不懂，那就最好别用。不然就会使他人感到是故意卖弄学问或有意不让他听懂。
在讨论过程中适当的手势是必要的，但是不要用手或笔尖去指别人，这是很不礼貌的行为。在别人反对你的观点时也要面带笑容，不要做出厌恶反感之态，情绪过于激动时也不要说出刺激对方的言语，在整个过程中要表现出得体、大方、有肚量。
这些方式方法只有在实战中经常运用才能使自己的实力得到真正的提升，否则就只能是纸上谈兵。考生在面试备考过程中可以找多个好友模拟无领导小组讨论的形式，在模拟的过程中逐渐掌握这些技巧，使自己在真正面试过程中发挥得更加出色。
