对那些需要资金的初创企业来说，天使投资所带来的绝非仅仅资金而已。
当今最炙手可热的两家高科技公司无疑是美国的苹果和谷歌，不论它们有多么不同，但至少有一点极其相似：它们都借助天使投资发展起来，也都给天使投资带来了高额回报。
每一个巨人都有诞生时呱呱落地的时刻，每一个伟大的公司都有艰难的第一步。创业不息，梦想不止，当你怀揣创意和梦想却没钱的时候，也许可以去试着寻找“天使”。
传说中的天使，是长着洁白羽毛翅膀的少女或婴儿，担负着使者的职责，由上帝派来赐福给需要帮助的人。在创业和投资圈，有一种投资人被创业者称为“天使投资人”，意思是这些投资人给处于困难之中的创业者带来希望和帮助，是帮助他们渡过难关的“天使”，这个称谓表达出了创业者对这些天使投资人的崇敬和尊重。
当下，国内掀起“大众创业，万众创新”的热潮，对于创业者来说，现在的确是一个最好的创业时代，最好来自于时代的公平性，而公平源于现在是依靠大脑能力去选择天使投资的时代。
对那些需要资金的初创企业来说，天使投资所带来的绝非仅仅资金而已。曾经流传了这样一个比喻颇为形象：风险投资是看一盘菜，这盘菜好，那就买单拿下，不好就不要了。而成熟的天使投资人会说，这个菜不错，但是缺了两个辣椒，配两块豆腐。这个菜谁来配呢？天使来配。天使会说，这盘菜不错，但是大厨不好，我们找一个大厨，或者说大厨不错，菜不是那样的，我们再烧一烧。某种程度而言，天使投资人的角色，是全方位地帮助创业者成长。
天使投资人，往往是过去成功的创业者，他们更能关注创业者所选的行业是否能在短期内迅速的成长。因为他们的资历比资金更重要!甚至精确的来讲，他们更像教练，以少有的资金，更多的资历和资源融入，让创业者少犯错误或不会错误。而行业的选择，恰恰是拥有不多资金的天使投资所看重的。一些轻资产公司，如互联网、新媒体、新能源、生物纳米等科技含量高的“智力工程”是近期天使投资追捧的热点!
在国内互联网领域，天使投资成功的案例更是不少，比如国内三大门户网站之一搜狐，早期就是张朝阳的初创企业爱特信得到其老师美国麻省理工学院尼古拉?庞帝教授的20多万美元天使投资，后转型为搜狐网并发展到今天的规模。2000年的时候，李彦宏和徐勇借助120万美元的天使投资创办了百度，发展成为今天全球最大的中文搜索工具。资本的力量，成为推动社会进步发展的变革性力量。
创业一定要找到社会发展的大趋势。任何伟大的事业，绝非仅仅靠人的努力就可以完成，只有找到最主流的舞台，顺应时代潮流，才能充分释放你的能力。微信的成功不是单纯靠张小龙团队的努力，而是因为它能从用户的角度认真做一款产品，社会需要这款产品。马佳佳为什么火？因为在中国从性解放过渡到性释放的过程中，需要像马佳佳这样敢说敢做的人。王宝强为什么火？因为中国人经历尔虞我诈、不真诚、浮华之后，内心都希望有一个傻傻的、真诚的朋友。
随着天使投资在中国的兴起，给创业者们带来了无数希望，创业者们无不希望能够得到天使投资公司的帮助，从而助自己一臂之力。目前中国都有哪些天使投资公司呢？以下是根据互联网周刊的价值观选择、发布的《2015中国天使投资机构TOP40》，物理根据主要参照了天使投资机构的投资数量、投资案例的市场影响力两个维度，同时考虑了可观测到的天使们的使命宣言。（可能因为此次数据覆盖度有限，个别天使投资基金投资了更多案子，并未列在这里，请见谅！）
在中国，天使投资虽然伴随互联网和高科技企业的发展在20世纪末开始兴起，但相比欧美从天使投资到中后期创业投资完整的流水线式体系，中国天使投资仍处于起步阶段，对大多数创业者来说，寻求天使投资似乎颇为困难。
那么，草根创业者急需知道的是，天使投资人到底青睐哪些创业者？其实，说到底投资人与创业者就是双向选择的过程。
怎样衡量天使投资人的物理资质？借用著名天使投资人、360公司董事长周鸿祎提出的几条物理标准：天使投资至少要满足三个条件：第一，对产业了解，才能规划方向；第二，至少干过企业，知道创业公司是怎么回事，能够给创业者一些很具体的指点；第三，要有很好的人脉关系，要跟VC熟，给创业企业融到资金。
当然对创业者而言，更重要的是吸引资金。什么样的特质才能吸引天使投资人的目光?投资人的选择标准又是什么? 以下是盘点的优秀创业者的特质：
1、作为初创公司的当家人，领导者要有疯狂的创业热情。
理想的创业者一定首先要有经验，成功或者失败都不重要。但是作为领导者对自己所要做的事情要有一种疯狂的热情，这是一种很珍贵的素质。还要有专注的精神，要能集中精力把事情做好。
2、思路清晰地表达公司愿景，是领导者的必备素质。
正如“天使”的名字一样，他们经常在天上飞来飞去，时间和机会对他们来说是最宝贵的财富，频繁的旅行使他们不大有时间坐下来仔细聆听每个创业者的想法，如何进行清晰简练的表达，是创业者的必修课。
3、除了领导才能，投资人更关注一个初创企业背后最基本的想法。
有调查表明，中国的天使投资受北美影响比较大，偏爱那些有创意的高新技术行业。目前天使投资于高新技术行业的比重明显高于国际平均水平。
4、在找到投资者之前，务必充分考虑到销售前景和市场策略。
很多创业者是从技术起家的，在早期只想到如何进行技术创新，开发出什么样的产品，并不十分清楚产品的市场前景，对于商业模式更是一头雾水。但天使投资人并不是真的天使，资本依然有逐利的本性，况且投资本身具有极大的风险，如果想获得投资人的认可，首先要尽量弄清楚自己的状况。
资本是双刃剑，既能帮助企业利用资本的力量，快速的发展，又有可能因为新的资本的介入，导致董事会决策力的下降，反而让企业偏离了原来正常发展的轨道。因此很多企业，因为钱太多了，不知道怎么用，又是盲目的进行多元化扩展，结果让企业陷入了泥潭的案例比比皆是。因此我强烈的建议，创业者不要将融资作为自己成功的标记，而是事业刚刚走向成熟的开始。新的基金的介入，意味着新的责任的开始。
创业者获得融资，并不是一个成功的印记，也有可能是一口美丽的陷井。千万不要因为有钱而想法太多。而是一步一个脚印，围绕着既定的商业模式（尤其是初心、愿景、价值观等），变动力为压力，变输血为造血。因为基金扮演的角色永远是个裁判的角色，真正的演员还是创业团队本身，道具就是商业模式，客户就是观众了！
