在职场中想升职，大概是每一位经理人都梦寐以求的，这是体现自我价值、获得优越感的方式之一。人脉广，或者能力强，到底谁才是升职的命门所在？
“俗话说的好，有嘴走遍天下，有一张会说话的嘴就是最好的武器，那在社会这个大染缸里，我是和大家应酬好，靠人脉升职？还是努力工作，靠能力升职？”在猎聘同道问答上有10年工作经验的投资顾问孙女士提出了这样一个问题。
人脉能带来更多机会
有8年理财经验的鞠先生认为，人脉的作用不可小视，其实经营好人脉也是一种能力。人脉就像润滑剂，有它能让你的工作更好更快。一个拥有强大的人脉的人，必然在处理人际关系中具有一定的水平，不然他无法去维持他的人脉，而在一个地方工作，经常会遇到需要与其他同事其他部门相互沟通协调的事情，而这个时候一个人在处理人际上的能力会在某种程度上影响到这件事情进度与质量。
能力能带来更远发展
“升职是因为公司和领导需要有能力去做事的人。所以，普遍意义上来讲，晋升是靠个人的能力，去做对事。虽然有的时候，个人的绩效优劣并不明显，很多技术、行政等岗位，不容易展现个人特别的长处，那么有一个好的上级就显得尤为重要了。上级能对员工各方面进行综合的评价，认定他认为表现最好的员工。其实无论是政府组织、企业，完全靠关系上去的人并不多。但是真正的能力能带给你长远的发展，升职也就自然而然。”在电商方面有16年工作经验的营销总监吴先生分析道。
人脉和能力缺一不可
“总的来说，人脉和个人能力， 我们不能顾此失彼，不要单一的去打造人脉，也不要单一的去打造自己，两者相辅相成，你的职业发展道路才会更精彩。人际关系欠佳，不但会让你在工作上的发展受限，更会让你心情不好、甚至会危及身体健康。而缺少能力，更是职场大忌，做不出成绩，领导不认可你，下属不服你，你如何在职场立足？只有二者兼备，才能获得职场的成功。”这是一位有30年工作经验的总经理陈先生的回答。
良好的人际关系，要求你能设身处地为他人着想，保持真诚聆听的态度，对别人不吝赞美、肯定对方的价值；想要拥有超过他人的工作能力，要对工作一直保持热忱，用活力和积极性面对职场，不要计较多做一些事。想要未来向上发展，就要肯付出努力，同时，人脉、能力缺一不可，当领导看到你的价值，升职的时候就到了。
