大家有没有发现，我们生活中很多老好人，都不太成功，甚至他们的生活可以用失败来形容？
大家都听过一句话：好人，不一定有好报。
用这句话来形容每日苦心经营的职场老好人，真的再恰当不过了。
你我都应该有过这种体验：作为新人初来乍到，以较低的姿态和同事相处，希望尽快融入新的环境。同事有需要帮忙的地方，不管自己有多难、多忙，也会尽力帮忙，结果最后加班的人却只有你一个。
所谓人脉关系，并不是“委屈求全”
我们拼命地维护着所谓的人脉关系，希望在同事中成为一个合群的人，结果呢做着本不属于自己的职责和工作，加着本不需要的班，过着有苦说不出的生活还别指望别人领你的情。而当你周围的同事已经习惯了让你帮忙，他们说什么你都随之附和的时候，你的一次拒绝就可能把之前的人情全部毁于一旦。
所谓的人脉关系，在老好人这里只是一味地付出，得到回报却少之又少。就算你苦心经营了人脉，在职场中又有什么用？决定你加薪的是你的领导，决定你升职的是你的绩效，而你的同事可能只会影响你的心情。
职场就是这样一个地方：你说YES并不代表被认可，你说NO也并不代表被否定
通常来讲，大家在职场都需要了解自己想要什么，要有自己的个性。
领导给你安排任务时，一般来讲要说YES。这个属于态度问题，但如果在你工作超负荷、已经焦头烂额的时候领导突然甩给你一个活儿，那么你需要思考自己是否有精力做，如果没有就要和领导沟通say no。
同事让你帮忙就更好说了，普通的帮忙拿快递、帮忙打印、帮忙接水，如果你不忙OK只是顺手的事儿。但如果是那种帮他做表格、帮他做PPT、帮他想方法做工作，那你就要斟酌了：说的好听，这叫做看你专业求你帮忙。说的难听，别人可能只是想偷懒，只是觉得你好说话而已。对于这种非自己工作之外，而是别人工作之内的事务，你没有必要去为它分担工作，为它去加班熬夜。该拒绝就要拒绝，不能因为怕伤和气给自己无谓的增加工作量。
你自己的利益都不争，还指望谁替你争？
大家都希望自己在职场中受欢迎，但有些想不明白的人以为这句话是在讲“受同事们欢迎”，而想明白的人都知道这讲的是“受到你在职场中的利益相关者欢迎”。这些利益相关者，既有你的老板、你的领导、也有你的同事、你的客户、你的供应商等。
没有人能够做到让所有人喜欢自己，即便他是马云，你要做的是：想清楚自己要什么，做事情有明确的目的性，并且“好意思”去给自己争取机会。
本科的时候有一个室友，狮子座的女生非常有想法，有时候让人觉得她不合群。她参与我们不参与的社团，她去我们不会去的活动，她每天一个人上自习。结果每天成群结伴的我们毕业后考研、工作，她被成功保研进入了北京大学读研。我一直认为她是一个不太合格的室友，不合群不讨喜，但无可否认在人情和学业上她选择了后者。
你很清楚自己的目标是什么，就不要因为人情和关系不好意思去争取，职场中大家都是竞争关系，但并不意味着你和他关系好，他就会把升职的机会让给你。该争取的时候就得争取，你不争，还指望别人替你争?
你在职场中张不开嘴，很可能在升职时伸不开腿
职场中不需要老好人，在你无数次在会上选择follow其他人的观点，无数次帮其他同事cover他们的工作的时候，你在职场中就已经输了。工作中很多机会是需要竞争的，你不发表言论，只能说明你自己没有观点才会支持别人。你帮忙别人做工作，但成果却没有你的一丝一毫。
作为领导都需要有自己的观点和想法，如果你一直没有想法、不表态，那么抱歉，你可能永远当不了领导。你在职场中不去表达，不去反驳别人的观点，你很可能在升职时伸不开腿，永远上不去那节台阶儿。
