年终岁尾，员工和老板的沟通是最频繁的，因为都在试探对方对自己的感觉及态度，通过试探来确定下一步是继续合作，还是分道扬镳，以便早作准备。然而就在这沟通试探中，员工往往不由自主地说出了自认为最有水平的话，认为是自己最应该表达的方式。
其实这些话中有一句是最傻的，却往往是大多数员工最爱说的、最常说的，甚至不经意或有意说的。那么，是哪一句话呢？这句话就是:
已经有好几家单位邀我加盟
员工年底前直接或间接地告诉老板（包括上司），我有很多去处，甚至说有几家和我发了具体的录用通知书了，就等我回话呢？甚至说就等我去呢，收入也比现在好多了，职位也比现在高多了，企业也比咱们的单位好多了。总之，说这些话一个意思，无疑的初衷是告诉老板，留爷处有很多，而且留爷处比现在的单位好多了，公司要想留我，得给我更好的位置和更好的待遇，要不然爷就不干了。这句话显然带有要挟的味道。
老板听了这句话后会怎么想？
老板会想，真傻，怎么会说这样的话呢？因为老板会通过这句话做出以下三方面判断：
第一，这人还想在公司继续干下去，要是找好了理想的单位早就走了，还用在这里瞎叨叨；
第二，这人想用这最愚蠢的表达方式争取到更好的待遇和职位；
第三，这人近期想跳槽，而试了试后碰壁了，暂时没有地方可去。
这句话产生的客观原因是什么呢？
一是年终岁尾，各单位都在制订新一年的发展战略，当然人力资源作为配套战略也跟着出台，这样就为人才的流动提供了客观前提。
二是年终岁尾各种活动比较多，有的是政府组织的，有的是行业协会组织的，有的是媒体组织的，有的是单位的各种答谢和联谊活动，这些频繁的活动也为人才提供了各种信息交流机会。
三是员工在进行聚会和信息交流活动时，总是拿自己现单位不好的一面和外单位好的一面比较，这一比，心里落差也就有了，跳槽的动机和愿望也就产生了，于是开始真的有心活动了，活动了半天，满心的希望变成了失望，大多没有结果，于是就在希望不能实现，现实单位又有诸多不满意的各种复杂矛盾心情交织下，和老板交流时有意无意地说出了上述最傻的一句话。
有时是一时激动，无意说漏了嘴，有时是有意地展示自己能耐时，吹嘘一下自己的市场价值，没想到这一自夸，露丑了，就像孔雀开屏，一骄傲露出了最丑的地方。
员工说这句话的主观愿望是什么呢？
一是员工频繁的活动没有了结果，又不得不继续在原单位工作下去，但是要继续干下去还得和老板沟通一下是否继续真的用自己或重用自己，于是试探说出了如此愚蠢的话。
第二，说这话的另一目的，就是想告诉老板一个信息，要留我干，得给我长工资，要么给予更高的职位，这也是员工对老板的试探，如果老板想留人，就想办法给涨工资、提职位，如果不想留，或无所谓，就不理睬。
第三，说这话的人城府不深，或者是和老板交情不错的员工，想怎么说就怎么说，说了感觉也无所谓，其实这也是傻的另一种表现。总之，员工说了这句傻话，等于把自己最近的思想活动和现实行动全部告诉了老板，你说这话傻不傻？
老板是怎么演绎员工的活动现场呢？
老板尽管不在事情发生的现场，但完全可以演绎上述的事情。员工在频繁的聚会中，在外界信息的引诱下，可能最近接触过一些单位，或在圈内活动中有人说到我们这里工作吧，自己感觉受宠若惊，欣欣然，然而真当自己主动问时，又没有下文了，或是某些单位虽有意向，但没有用的打算，就是说该人想跳槽而试了试后碰壁了，回单位后有意无意流露或泄漏出“秘密”了。
作为老板，听了这句话后，大可放心，这位员工一时半会走不了，但他毕竟动了走的念头，他对外部的诱惑动了心，应该有所惊醒，检讨自己的行为，检讨企业的工作，如果人选可留，就暗中多做些拴心留人的工作；如果无所谓，就不予理睬；如果确实想让该员工走，就顺势而为，趁话促其走人。
