近日，看到这样一则充满哲理的故事：
据说，左宗棠很喜欢下围棋，其属僚皆非其对手。
有一次，左宗棠出征途中，看见有一茅舍，横梁上挂着匾 “天下第一棋手”，左宗棠不服，入内与茅舍主人连弈三盘。主人三盘皆输，左宗棠笑道：“你可以将此匾卸下了！”。
随后，左宗棠自信满满，兴高采烈的走了。
过没多久，左宗棠班师回朝，又路过此处，左宗棠又好奇的找到这间茅舍，赫然见“天下第一棋手”之匾仍未拆下，左宗棠又入内，与主人再下了三盘。这次，左宗棠三盘皆输。左宗棠大感讶异，问茅舍主人何故？主人答：“上回，您有任务在身，要率兵打仗，我不能挫您的锐气，现今，您已得胜归来，我当然全力以赴，当仁不让啦。”
世间真正的高手，是能胜，而不一定要胜，有谦让别人的胸襟；能赢，而不一定要赢，有善解人意的意愿。
能胜，而不一定要胜；能赢，而不一定要赢，这种胸襟和善解人意的意愿，体现的是一种大气的心性和智慧的包容。这种心性和包容，在职场当中特别需要去提倡和践行。
首先是公司和员工之间要有这种心性和包容。大凡一家向上走的企业，在往前的过程中，一定会存在若干大大小小的问题，面对这些问题，若员工适应不了，包容不了，往往会心生怨气，而人一旦心生怨气，很难谈得上能与公司进行建设性合作，从而产生价值。自己呆着不舒服，对公司也不会有贡献。这种损人不利己的做法，一般都是缺乏包容的心性而导致。更有甚者，因为这种不包容，干脆一走了之。但走到另外的公司，另外的公司也会有问题存在，倘还是不包容，最后也有可能一走了之，频繁跳槽的后果是让自己的职涯之路越走越窄。
若员工有包容公司之心，面对问题便会产生一种积极的阳光心态：首先，承认和接纳公司存在的问题；其次，从自身所处的位置分析问题产生的成因；最后，能提出解决问题的方案。如此，从发现问题到解决问题，这样的一种过程，不仅让自身得益成长，同时也推动了公司的发展，实现了良性共赢。
其次是员工与员工之间要有这种心性与包容。我总认为，大家能聚在一起共事是很深的缘份，要做到感恩惜缘，这样才能做到同事之间的相互支持与提携，职场当中也会因为有这种基因的存在而让大家心生温暖，有温度的职场才会产生正能量，在正能量的环境才能创造价值，成就你我。
俗话说：“金无足赤，人无完人”，任何人的身上，都可能存在着各种各样的问题，若我们盯着别人的问题不放，甚至斤斤计较，不仅自己会常生恼怒，也会令对方心生不快，从而影响了合作。若我们能欣赏别人的优点，不仅会让对方愉悦，自身也能不断地从对方的身上学到有益的东西，促进自身的成长，而这一切，皆源自于包容。
当然，包容不等于迁就。如果对方存在负面价值观，比如说抱怨、计较、不负责任，甚至公款私用等等不堪，对此的包容，其实就是一种迁就和纵容，是一种不负责任的行为。包容也不等于放任。明明知道对方有错，却睁一只眼闭一只眼放任不管，这同样是一种不负责任的行为。真正有智慧的包容，首先是要明辨是否值得包容，然后在接纳的同时，尽己所能，创造条件去改变或改善。
“大肚能容，容天下难容之事；开口便笑，笑世间可笑之人。”这幅描写弥勒佛的对联，也在指引着人世间的风尘俗子。有海纳百川、有容乃大的胸怀，才能站在人生的至高境界，担大责，创大业！
