断舍离的本质，就是对人生，对生活，工作，做减法，剔繁求简，做这个减法之后，你会发现，职场变得如此简单。
《断舍离》是日本一位杂物管理大师山下英子经过多年修行和理解总结出的禅心之道，其中谈及很多对生命和生活的顿悟。
此书经翻译在国内图书市场出版后更是好评如潮，一时间洛阳纸贵。不但如此，无数读者正效仿其中方法跬步积累，生活水准突变。
“断舍离”中的一些法则意义非凡，不仅仅是收拾房屋，寻找幸福时适用，在人生职场的大雾中，它就像一座灯塔，让我们有迹可循，方向自明。
从简单的字面透析来看，“断”寓指不接受无用之物，“舍”寓指舍弃无用之物，“离”寓指脱离物质迷恋。
显然“断”跟“舍”相当于个人修行的过程，“离”则是一种追求或者超脱的心境。“断”这个字很好理解，比如你在商场中购物附赠了一些礼品，你完全不需要它们，就该当机立断，拒收这些赠品。
虽然它们是有价值的，会让消费者内心感觉像是占了便宜。从商场来讲，这是营销手段;从个人来讲，这便是无用之物，理当拒断。
倘若从职场的角度来看，“断”便具有多重意义。
例如，领导同事给你提出的无效建议或者负面评价，应当左耳朵进，右耳朵出，不要放在心上。否则工作时消极应对，惶惶不可终日，负面的评价将会接踵而至，形成恶性循环。
断掉影响工作的负面讯息，断掉急于求成的贪念，断掉礼尚往来的小便宜。更为重要的，莫过于在职场中，善于判断，抓住工作中的重点，断掉影响工作效率的非次要行为。面对不同的同事和领导，“断”可以帮助你建构成只属于你自己的人生职场，也可以构建精准而高效的工作方式。
“舍”也有着类似的意义。舍寓意舍弃多余之物，那么在职场中，哪些属于多余之物呢?
冗杂的同事关系便是多余。并不是说跟所有同事舍了关系，而是要舍弃猜疑，舍弃疏远，舍弃怨恨。此外，你更需要舍弃的是复杂的思考，复杂的选择，顾虑过多，就意味着你最终只能选择放弃。
把这种关系看成是家中一件物品，把它摆放在合适的位置，有求时取出来用，用完了再摆放回去。这样才能令人觉得干净利落，光明磊落，职场上也就做得不卑不亢，早晚会得到贵人的提携。
“离”的境界更深，有发未全僧，像是在出世入世之间寻到了某个支点，稍稍用力，就能翘起整个地球。
“离”本意指离开物欲，在职场中，“物”主要偏指财富和地位。职场人士应该给定一个最单纯的目标而为之奋斗，这个目标便是造福社会，造福人类，它因不牵扯任何利益纠纷而更加纯粹。
脱离过于烦扰地物欲，舍弃过于沉重的心石。也断掉疲乏思虑，你会发现，其实，简单有时候，也是一种幸福快乐。除去欲望的远离，你更需要远离的，则是自我膨胀，自傲，舍弃过于复杂的思考，化繁求简。
在《断舍离》中，作者提到了，训练自我俯瞰力，是提升断舍离能力的最根本因素。在一定程度上，断舍离是一种筛选判断之后，决定舍弃的能力。这不只是勇气，更大程度上需要的是作者本身的判断能力，决断能力。
这个能力也是基于掌控全局，站在高处，以高屋建瓴的姿态来审视全局，给出的选择。工作中做到断舍离，也如此，学会以高屋建瓴的姿态，俯瞰全局，从宏观角度把握工作中的重点，自己现阶段的需求，对于现阶段的需求，有帮助的，可以留存，不需要的，要敢于断舍离。
其实，断舍离的本质，就是对人生，对生活，工作，做减法，剔繁求简，做这个减法之后，你会发现，职场变得如此简单。
职场中，多数人做不到断舍离，不能果断放弃，多源于思虑过多，顾虑重重，也总对未来有需求，抱有幻想。其实，做到也很容易，你必然要清醒了解：每个现世的人，都无法左右预知未来，只能够活在当下。对当下有需求的事情，才是要保留的，对当下无需求的事情，则是需要果断放手的。
断掉工作中的负面情绪，也断掉干扰工作效率的次要事情，舍弃工作中，过多复杂的思虑，远离物欲，自我膨胀，你也会发现，其实，工作并没有想象中那么糟心疲惫。
职场人士，若能做到，对不需要的事物断舍离，放下释怀，一切自当安然自若。
