世界500强的外企部门主管，年薪20余万元，出差只坐飞机，酒店只住五星级。但为了创业，今年5月，27岁的庄栋决定辞职，离开上海。揣着西安交通大学研究生毕业证，他重新站在母校对面那条名叫“金水路”的巷口，开始了新生活——卖凉皮。
西安交通大学南门对面的金水路路口，这个只有一辆生锈的三轮车、一张案板、一把遮阳伞、一张桌子、4个凳子的摊位，却拥有一名“英语口语很棒”的老板。
正是午饭时间，1个小时内，“小庄师兄”凉皮摊卖出凉皮17碗，每碗5元。赶上顾客多时，桌子和凳子明显不足，老板只好求助隔壁摊位。调凉皮、送餐、收拾餐具……“小庄师兄”凉皮摊上只有两人在忙活，一个叫庄栋，一个叫庄楠，是亲兄弟，庄楠比哥哥庄栋小两岁。
“来光顾的很多都是我的师弟师妹，原来在学校他们都叫我小庄师兄，现在我的凉皮摊也起这个名字。”摊位老板庄栋说，2012年，他毕业于西安交通大学材料科学与工程专业，硕士研究生学历，毕业三年了。弟弟庄楠毕业于西安工业大学机械专业。
庄栋说，当年他的高考成绩可以上除清华北大以外的任何国内高校，他选择在西安交通大学本硕连读，硕士时研究的方向是关于核能应用方面的材料研究，但研究生毕业后，他选择了一家从事日化行业的世界500强企业。
庄栋说，他大学多次准备出国，但由于家在宝鸡农村，父母靠种植猕猴桃为生，收入不多。为了不给家人增添负担，他放弃了出国，最终在近千人的选拔中，通过了多次中英文面试，顺利进入这家外企，在上海工作。庄栋说，离职前，他已成为公司生产部门的主管，年薪20余万元。与此同时，他也享受着一些世界级企业员工的待遇，出差只坐飞机，酒店只住五星级，偶尔还有机会前往美国、欧洲、日本等地出差。“辞职前，我们部门领导还想再提拔我一下。”庄栋说，此时，一个创业想法驱使他决定离开上海。
庄栋说，如果留在外企，他会继续升职、加薪，但上海的高房价让他看不到未来，“即使我年薪30万，想在上海买套房、过有尊严的日子也很难。”他父母的年收入只有三四万元，只能勉强帮兄弟俩其中一人在西安支付一套房的首付，而兄弟俩都不愿让父母这样付出。再加上父母现在相对年轻，自身还没那么大压力，庄栋认为，必须把握住创业的时机。“我想试一下，要不，真对不起自己。”
庄栋筹集了30余万元，开始创业。他选择的项目是卖凉皮。因为亲戚中有人在从事凉皮生意，他已经研制出了自己的凉皮配方。弟弟曾在多家世界级快餐连锁企业担任管理工作，也来参与这个项目。但除了女友支持，他的父母、曾经的领导、同学都不理解他的行为。
每天凌晨5时许，庄栋乘公交车将40多斤的凉皮从住地大寨路运往交大附近，中午12时出摊，晚7时后，再摆3个多小时的夜市。20多天的运营，每晚都是接近凌晨才能到家。“原来只是觉得上班累，现在真是在用命拼，一天流水也就近千元。
庄栋说，等店铺谈下来，他就不会再摆摊，而店铺也仅仅是他全部创业计划中的一小部分，“按照我们前期计划，大概三个月后，基本布局就能有个雏形，现在还是商业秘密。”此前，由西安交通大学毕业生创办的互联网餐饮品牌“西少爷肉夹馍”取得了成功，庄栋说，他的想法肯定与前者不一样。“到时候，大家都会知道我如何利用‘互联网+’去改变凉皮了。”
