26岁的万志成在2013年从腾讯离职后两次创业。第一次和几个合伙人研发了挖掘比特币的矿机，一年利润几千万。2015年2月创办了时尚社区电商平台SEE之后，万志成和他的投资人讨论过一个问题——现在的创业，到底是英雄造时势还是时代成就人？
靠比特币一年狂赚几千万
万志成的答案是时代造就人。他认为，每个人都是时代的一个蚂蚁，你改变不了太多，只是幸运地抓住了这个机会。
所以万志成的两次创业，都是在看到一个新鲜事物进入了发展的黄金期，而决定进入。
万志成的第一桶金来自于比特币。这是一种数字货币，由中本聪在2009年提出，它不依靠特定货币机构发行，而是通过大量的计算产生，无法通过大量制造来人为操控币值。由于数量有限，比特币在2013年前后遭到人们热炒。
万志成进入的缘由，是在中关村的咖啡馆看到一款比特币的概念版产品。万志成回去研究了一番，发现还是一片蓝海，便找来3个合伙人，研发出一款挖掘比特币的矿机。
在那个疯狂的年代，这个造梦神话的产品让他们的团队挣了很多钱。但经过一两年的疯狂之后，比特币行情急剧下滑。万志成感到“很难抵抗这种下降力”，决定退出。
抢食跨境电商蛋糕
给他第二次创业提供灵感的是一个旅行箱。2014年万志成在美国机场，看到一个老外的旅行箱很好看，便顺手拍下照片，回国到网上寻找同款。让他纳闷的是，在信息如此透明快速的时代，他竟然没有找到。
这让他对如今的电商运营模式产生了疑问，为什么电商发展了这么多年却解决不了需求？当然，旅行箱只是促成万志成决定再次创业的导火索，而海购、跨境电商的风潮和中国市场消费升级才是其相中的大背景。
万志成想要解决他所遇到的那种场景痛点，让所见即所得成为新的购物模式。经过分析之后，万志成把电商的品类定位为搜索频次高、消费市场大的女装。更为具体点，万志成瞄准的是一二线城市、85后-95后的年轻消费群体。他认为，以前淘宝女装几乎覆盖了一二三四线城市的消费群体，而美丽说、蘑菇街等导购、推荐电商产品也在二三线消费群体中占据了位置。反倒是一线城市那些追求时尚的消费群体，还没有专门的平台来服务他们。
而2015年恰好是跨境电商迎来爆发的元年。天猫把今年的双十一主题聚焦在全球购，京东、唯品会、聚美优品等电商平台也将海购推上主要位置，甚至网易的考拉海购也在其刚公布的财报中交了一份亮眼的成绩。
万志成觉得时机到了。他瞄准的这部分人群正是跨境电商的第一消费群体，具有全球化的视野。2015年2月，从上一个创业公司离开后，万志成叫来几位腾讯的同事，创办了图片社区电商平台SEE。
图片找同款能否避开巨头？
但跨境电商的大潮里已经涌入太多竞争者，包括强大的阿里、京东等电商巨头。一个刚刚创业的小公司，拿什么去和市值2000亿美元的阿里巴巴比拼？
万志成从没想过要螳臂当车直冲阿里而去，他选择一条自认为能够绕过巨头的路。
SEE首要解决的问题是如何实现“所见即所得”的购买方式，这是万志成在旅行箱身上遇到的痛点。SEE的做法是用户在街上或网上、电视剧里看到喜欢的衣服之后，拍一张照片传到SEE的应用上，在简单添加几个诸如“外套、铆钉、欧美”的标签之后，发布到社区即可。
之后就会有SEE背后上千个服务商，根据图片识别和标签分类找出全球同款，或者相似款服装的商品链接，反馈给提交图片的用户。SEE对外宣称，10分钟即可得到反馈。用户在查看商品细节和价格之后如果满意，就可以直接在SEE里完成购买。
万志成把这比作和UBER类似的共享经济模式，是服装电商领域的C2C。SEE在此提供的中间平台、更好地图片识别处理技术和背后专业的服务商。
除此以外，SEE想要打造的是基于找同款的社区电商平台。除了用户主动发布图片寻找衣服同款，在SEE的应用里，也会向用户推荐明星同款、影视剧中服饰、热门大牌同款等几类主题。与之合作的品牌现在已经包括ASOS、Topshop、Shopstyle、EMODA、GRL、Keds 等数十家。
SEE的盈利方式是在用户和服务商的商品交易中赚取佣金。2015年6月上线的SEE，目前拥有30万用户和上千名服务商。创始人万志成告诉i黑马，他目前所瞄准的一二线城市年轻群体数量在5000万的规模，有能力提供服务的专业买手大概在10万人左右。
SEE想要做的就是通过用户产生需求最后完成购买的方式绕过传统的电商模式，尽可能多得在5000万消费者和10万服务商之间建立消费联系。
今年8月份，SEE完成了数百万美金的 A 轮融资，资方包括IDG、晨兴资本 和 BAI。目前团队成员主要来自于腾讯，加上后面挖来的京东、阿里的运营人员，规模30人。
