癌症，一种人人闻之而色变的疾病，却越来越多地出现在日常生活周边。数据显示，中国每年有220万人因癌症而死亡。世界卫生组织驻中国代表伯恩哈德·施瓦特兰德表示，癌症在中国的增长比较迅猛，增长速度比大部分其他国家都快很多。
与癌症伴随而来的，是巨额的治疗费用，尽管现在保险概念已经被大多数人所接受，但实际情况却不甚理想。猎云网近日采访了抗癌公社团队，见到创始人张马丁时，正巧中央电视台《公益中国》栏目负责人在与他商讨录制节目的相关事宜。
抗癌公社是一个依托互联网针对重大疾病的小额互保社区。免费加入抗癌公社的社员，只需在其他社员生大病或者身故时支付小额的资金，就能获得最高30万元的大病医疗费用保障。
母亲患癌去世有感而发，一夜奋战网站上线
对于为何要创立抗癌公社，张马丁提及了一个小故事，在上海肿瘤医院陪母亲住院时，他看到有一个病人找到医生，请医生帮开个证明材料，原因是基督教会的教友们可以帮助募捐。当时他正为钱的事发愁，所以很羡慕病人有个组织可以依靠。
2011年母亲节的前一天想到这件事张马丁突然产生一个想法：会不会有人为了在得大病时获取募捐而去信教？能不能建立这样一个组织帮助人们万一癌症的时候帮他募捐？如果很多人都同时有这个想法，我们不是可以互相帮助吗？——互助互保的想法就产生了。一夜奋战之后，第二天网站就上线了，当时叫互保公社。
随着互联网发展，抗癌公社也从网站转移到了微信公众号，团队也从上海来到了北京。张马丁告诉猎云网，其实现在全国各地已经有不少社员自发想要成立分社，这还需要进一步审核和规范，抗癌公社其实比较类似于众保行业的小米。
“互联网+互保社区”，定位在社保伴侣
社员每次资助受助社员的资金，是资助总金额除以正式社员人数，且每人每次不超过10元，目前社员总人数已经高达21万（其中正式社员7万多）。
社员注册后经观察期结束转为正式社员，注册时在0-40周岁观察期为180天，40周岁及以上则为360天。对此，张马丁解释说，这是根据不同年龄段来加以区分风险，40周岁是一个比较明显的分水岭。
抗癌公社定位为“社保”伴侣，即社员如果不幸罹患重大疾病，在社保的报销之外，还能享受到社员们的义务资助。抗癌公社除了基本的抗癌、大病和身故三大基础公社之外，还增加了如大学生公社、女性关爱公社等等主题公社。
既有保险的形，但又不是保险
抗癌公社规则虽然有一些保险的痕迹，如也有观察期。成员间相互保障，似乎也与国外的相互保险公司很相似。但张马丁非常坚决地告诉猎云网：不，抗癌公社不是保险！
抗癌公社与保险有很多不同：保险都是预先收费，退出还有罚金，投保30万的癌症保险每年都需要上千甚至几千的费用，保险其实就是一个收集和运营保险费的基金；而抗癌公社不预先收取费用，社员可以自由加入退出，且每次募集单人都不超过10元，所有资金都是直接打到病患手中。
这些都是与商业保险不同的地方，所以众保虽然有保险的原理，但不是商业保险。“根据精算师测算，社员一年累计参与互助的支出在200元左右，而保险公司的普遍情况是30岁需要2200元/年，随着年龄增大，保费更高。”
不当公益组织，定位互联网金融项目
“我很信奉哈耶克的观点：商业是最大的公益。”张马丁说，“抗癌公社希望通过商业方式实现公益。抗癌公社已经做了两个承诺：不从捐款中抽成和收会费。”
那抗癌公社的盈利模式在哪里呢？张马丁认为有三个方面的收入模式可供探索和尝试：
（1）抗癌公社可以适当增加健康医疗类广告，还可以与体检公司和保险公司合作，或者设想更远一点，推荐优秀医生、医院等，帮助就医。
（2）目前不考虑做资金沉淀，未来可能与金融公司合作提供保险、理财等增值服务。
（3）公社的发展方向可以参考国外此类保险公司的做法。
“此外，抗癌公社的发展一定要做到低成本，这样更有助于将项目推动下去。”张马丁说到。抗癌公社在去年10月获得了策源创投的数百万元天使投资，现在正寻求pre-A轮融资。
