在微博上有这样一类博主，专注于服饰穿搭内容，会发布一些带有主题内容的整体服装穿搭图片，并为粉丝提供寻找淘宝同款链接的服务。这类微博非常火爆，时常能在热门里看到。现在廖博森和他的团队做了一款APP，试图和博主抢“生意”。
和大多数创业者选择驻扎北京，上海，深圳不同，廖博森在北京工作几年之后，选择回到家乡四川进行创业。一方面是因为家人，另一方面虽然北上深的人才比较多，但他认为，在任何一个地方，都有好的人才，都能做出好的产品。种种机缘巧合之下，他做了这款APP。
这款APP就是拍图购，用户上传图片就可以搜出天猫，淘宝，京东，美丽说，蘑菇街等等主流电商上的与图片中相似衣服。
APP是新的，但这个想法和手法并不那么新颖。在国内的图片购物搜索领域，淘淘搜、图图搜、拍购都比拍图购做得早，淘宝也曾在双11试水拍图购物，但都没能掀起什么“浪花”。那么，拍图购有机会吗？
廖博森告诉雷锋网记者，和其他搜图比较类APP相比，拍图购还是有一些优势的。在交互方式上，拍图购只需要用户上传图片即刻搜索，其他APP除了上传图片外，还要手动输入衣服的特征标签才能完成搜索。在图片提取效果上，搜图购采用了Alex Net技术，图片呈现效果更好。另外，搜图购可以搜到全网的相似款式的衣服，而竞争对手通常没有这么多搜索结果。
据了解，搜图购系统可以识别的图片不仅仅局限于拍摄的照片，影视剧截图，杂志封面都可以识别，这在本质上就是以图搜图的技术。
事实上，在图片搜索这一技术上，百度等大公司也有不小资源投入。
据廖博森介绍，图片搜素需要几个步骤。首先是对图片特征进行提取，然后再给每张图片建立一个索引，再在线上搜索上做一个排序。而搜图购的图片搜索技术和百度是没有可比性的，百度的以图搜图搜的是各种图，拍图购则搜的都是衣服。衣服搜索还需要更多的技术，要对衣服进行特征的检提取，需要一些图形学的算法。百度做的是通用领域，拍图购则是在垂直领域，不同的应用领域，也没有办法进行比较。
然而，丰满的理想之下总是更为骨感的现实。雷锋网记者试用拍图购发现，搜索出来的商品和本身的衣服还是存在不小差异的。
对此，廖博森解释称，这可能是照片角度和光线造成，另外就目前的算法而言，哪怕是百度和Google，在图片搜索的一些细节上也是存在瑕疵的。系统可能会对颜色非常敏感，但在款式方面是比较难的事情，比如照片时侧面，那由侧面的款式来推导出正面的款式，是件很难的事情。这也是目前正在攻克的难点。
6月份，安卓版正式上线，据廖博森透露11底或12月初将会推出2.0版本，同时会发IOS版本，除了技术更新外，新版会推出社区功能。
受计算机图像识别算法技术的影响，真正实现百分之百寻找到同款衣服的效果是非常困难的，社区功能就是帮助解决这一问题的，如果对搜索结果不满意，还可以通过寻求别人的帮助来寻找。
廖博森的团队里有12个人，据说10个人都是搞技术的。他们的工作像是一种实验室的方式，把每个人的想法去进行试验验证。廖博森说，我们不像一些公司会吹嘘自己的团队成员有着多么牛X的学历和工作经历，因为我们不在乎这些，产品好不好让用户去评说。
