现在，创业已经不单单是一种现象了，《艾尔斯巨岩之约》这本小说的发行，让创业变成了一个可以挖掘深层价值的话题。万派文学的两位创始人郭羽和刘波是《艾尔斯巨岩之约》的作者，也是万派文学作者团队的最初两位作者。
郭羽和刘波都是最早的一代创业者，郭羽曾经成功创办过边锋游戏，刘波也在房地产和金融行业有十几年的从业经验，可以说在创业领域非常有发言权。“现在有很多理论性的创业书籍，但是这些理论性的书籍读起来经常会显得十分枯燥，如果能把创业的经验写进小说里，或许对创业者的帮助更大。”郭羽这样对创业邦记者表示。
创业故事也可以成为 IP 策源地
“从《花千骨》和《盗墓笔记》开始，‘超级 IP’的概念在今年的影视圈非常的火热，从小说开始，衍生出了电视剧、游戏等相关产品。IP 是 Intellectual Property(知识产权)的缩写，几乎每一部文学作品都想要做下一个超级 IP。”
郭羽和刘波成立的万派文学，就计划从“超级 IP”这个概念出发面开发“创业”这个话题的更深层次的价值。
郭羽向创业邦记者透露，万派文化已经与银都机构就创业商战小说《艾尔斯巨岩之约》达成影视 IP 合作协议，银都机构获得《艾尔斯巨岩之约》IP 的影视改编权，并将尽快搬上大荧幕。据了解，银都机构是中国电影在境外唯一的一家大型国有电影企业，迄今已经有近 60 年的历史。
“此外，基于在游戏行业多年的经验，郭羽还计划将《艾尔斯巨岩之约》打造成一款手机游戏，同样是以创业的历程为出发点，把创业的相关内容渗透到游戏的各个关卡。”
不过，为了发掘创业商战小说的经济价值，万派文学还计划未来推出《艾尔斯巨岩之约》的系列二，进一步描述商业战场上所会遇到的难题和解决方案。
写一本充分内测的财经文学小说
郭羽这次创业选择文化产业是看到文化产业正在成为风口，因为文化产业在互联网时代能够引发出更多的附加价值，并且给读者提供更多的服务。
郭羽在读书时是校园诗人，后来在杭州电视台做记者时是第一个采访马云的电视记者，也正是由于马云的影响郭羽才投身互联网创业创办边锋游戏。现在郭羽身兼投资人和创业者的身份，还担任杭州大学生创业俱乐部主席。这样的经历让郭羽在这次创办万派文学的过程中收益颇多，一是有文学背景，二是有创业经历。
财经领域对很多人来说比较专业，难懂，而郭羽和刘波则认为，越是大家不懂的领域才越有开发的价值。现在书店里的财经作品专业性都比较强，如果能用小说的形式将财经知识讲述出来或许能吸引更多的读者。
“如何能把一本财经小说写得既专业又通俗易懂，郭羽就用到了自己在做游戏公司时的经验——内测。在小说写成之后，郭羽和刘波分别找了律师、财经专家和各个年龄层的读者来对小说进行内测，对每个专业人士的分析进行采纳、对读者读不懂的地方进行改写，最后才写出了一本充满专业的创业知识又可读性强的小说。”
记者了解到，《艾尔斯巨岩之约》讲述的是大学生创业做在线旅游的故事，书中不仅描述了主人公创业的经历，还描述了创业过程中遇到的各种融资、法律、税收、人事等创业相关的问题。郭羽表示，“我们要让读者在看这本小说的时候更加明白创业要怎么做，而不是消遣的工具。”
在公司的发展方面，郭羽还透露，万派文学将会培养更多的 90 后年轻作家，以“互联网+商业”为基点，写出更多的互联网相关的书籍。90 后是互联网的原住民，他们更了解互联网，也更加明白互联网时代的读者需要什么样的作品。
