从推销饮茶杯做起
程刚下岗后一直在寻找合适的项目，一次偶然的机会，他听说了"一次性饮茶杯"。他通过调查发现，目前使用的一次性纸杯缺少杯盖，茶叶很难泡开，茶杯上漂浮的茶叶极不美观，有的纸杯质量不好的话，还容易渗水。
饮茶者在饮用过程中经常会遇到满嘴茶叶末的麻烦和尴尬。由于储藏不便，一些单位和家庭仅存放一两种茶叶，远远满足不了客人的不同口感和品位需求。
通过互联网的查询，程刚发现，纸杯的质量很差，有的开水一倒进去，底部的薄膜纸层就被冲坏了，茶叶还是冒了出来。有的底部薄膜很厚，可是茶叶没有被泡开，喝起来没有茶味，或者茶叶味很淡。
程刚思前想后决定和几十个加工厂家联系，先索取他们的样品，然后把感觉好一些的筛选出来。两个月后，他经过上门洽谈、观察、仔细对比，选定一家作为加工点加工了一批。
咖啡代替茶出现转机
一个月下来，程刚推销得并不顺利。在政府部门，人人手里都有一只自己的茶杯，对于这种纸茶杯根本不屑一顾，认为这么便宜的杯子里能有什么好茶叶，和他们手里半杯都是茶叶的杯子比起来还不如喝白开水。
在饭店，大多数老板对待客人还是不舍得多付出一些，认为他们那淡淡一壶茶就能应付满桌子的客人。接着他又跑了一些私人公司，可是大多数也认为没有必要，招待客户只要一杯矿泉水而已，还说人家是来谈生意的，并不是来品茶的，倒杯水只是礼貌客气一下。
程刚的一个搞市场的朋友分析说，纸茶杯是在一次性杯子上的深加工，但它并不像一次性杯子，人人必须使用。要想喝茶的一般对茶叶还是有要求的，对茶叶没有要求的就是可喝可不喝，这就是你的误区。
程刚猛然想起，在一家广告公司推销时，那位公司经理只是对纸杯咖啡感兴趣，品尝后说味道太淡了，不够香浓。
一杯咖啡赚取0.44元利润
程刚决定购买一台机器自己先生产调试配方，在网上和咖啡销售商联系购买样品并请教，还在超市购买各种牌子的咖啡，并到咖啡馆品尝，最后选中一款价格比较适中且味道口感都不错的速溶咖啡进行纸杯加工。
可是成品出来后还是不理想，因为咖啡量放的少，口味感觉还是比较淡，加大剂量试验后，口味上达到满意了，不过成本已经达到了0.26元一杯。
程刚拿着成品来到那家广告公司请经理品尝，他说感觉不错，当程刚告诉他成本有所增加，他也表示认可，结果他以每杯0.4元的价格要了500杯，还笑着说给他们的员工喝了就有精神工作了。
程刚把纸杯咖啡推广到了网吧，采取联合经营。热咖啡一元一杯，每杯给网吧提取0.3元，除去成本，自己能获取0.44元的利润。目前一元咖啡销量稳步上升，程刚每月可以达到4000多元的盈利了。他想把"一元咖啡"推销到写字楼、社区等更多场所。

随着整个社会信息化程度的提高，创业的人越来越多，现在一般意义上的市场空白点已经很难找到了。
所以要开始创业，尤其是小成本创业，必须从常人不注意的地方挖掘需求，另辟蹊径，找出自己的创业蓝海，才有可能承受较小的风险而取得成功。
不论社会如何发展，高性价比的东西总是有最广泛的市场空间，文中的"一元咖啡"就是从高性价比的角度，满足了目标客户的需求，从而快速打开了市场，有了一个良好的开端。
但仅仅有好的开始是不够的，因为现在的低成本是依靠创业者自己的亲力亲为和超常付出换来的，并没有把正常的管理和营销成本考虑进去，要想取得长远的发展，还需要在销售规模扩大、收入和成本的精细核算、管理水平提高等方面下工夫，取得持续经营的成功。
