idareX敢玩，是一个酷玩运动的垂直视频社区，由一群敢玩、爱玩的85后年轻人组成的团队。idareX结合线上视频推广与线下酷玩活动，聚集了一批喜欢寻求刺激、挑战自我的玩家，意欲打造中国版的GoPro酷玩文化。
idareX，为酷玩文化而生
CEO张婷告诉创业邦记者，她的创业是“不得已而为之”的。张婷是个爱玩的女孩，热爱滑板，死飞。是个技术控。她剪着一头干练的短发，阳光的个性让人一下子就能记住她。她原本是腾讯公司里的一个产品经理，待遇丰厚。“但是我身体里总有那份基因在，让我一看到极限运动就热血沸腾”，张婷如是说。于是，不安于现状的她毅然离开了腾讯。
她一直希望从事一个关于拍摄、关于极限运动的职业。但是她发现国内很难找出几家这样的公司。即使在国外一些极限运动发达的地方，玩家主要也是活跃在各个社区和论坛之上。
“然而，这种模式已经落伍了”，张婷说。
张婷在参加极限运动的活动中结识了GoPro中国社区的创建者张磊和陆岩，共同的爱好使他们聚集在了一起。张磊和陆岩深刻意识到只是做GoPro中国社区是不够的，因为它没有真正属于中国的文化内核。
张婷说：“GoPro看起来是一款相机，是一种智能硬件。实际上他们并不是在做硬件，而是在做一种酷玩文化。在国内实际上还尚未形成这样一种酷玩文化，我们想把这个文化给做出来。”
于是他们一拍即合，开始了创业之路。
“玩”出创业，“玩”出idareX
张婷对idareX的定位，就一个字：“玩！”
创立idareX的初衷并不是为了赚钱，而是为了打造一种酷玩文化。基于这个理念，他们着手打造idareX的线上视频播放平台：敢玩TV。idareX搜集了国内外极客拍摄的视频，放在敢玩TV这个线上平台集中展示。通过线上视频的传播，idareX聚集了一群志趣相投的玩家。
不光线上的视频十分火热，idareX推出线下产品：“敢玩活动”亦十分吸引眼球。他们通过已有的渠道与北京、上海、深圳等地的酷玩俱乐部签约合作，开直升机、驾驶游艇、室内真枪射击等一系列的活动受到玩家们的追捧。张婷表示：“玩家的反响很积极，觉得我们的活动很新鲜。像我们最近举办的泡泡足球活动，500人的名额在两天之内就爆满了。”idareX将很多原本只是存在一个小圈子里的娱乐活动搬到了更为广阔的平台上，让更多的人可以接触到，可以玩得到。
打破常规 提供一种全新的娱乐方式
idareX目标受众是喜爱追求刺激、新鲜感，具有一定经济实力的白领群体。这个群体有一个鲜明的特点：工作稳定，朝九晚五，经济压力相对较小。他们平时的娱乐活动单一乏味，唱K、聚餐、上网、爬山，除此之外就没有其他的娱乐活动。idareX试图打破这个常规。让工作之余的娱乐方式可以变得有趣、刺激。
idareX定位并不是在于酷玩的资深玩家。而是一些喜欢寻求刺激和新鲜感的入门级玩家。这些玩家并没有很强的专业水平，但是喜欢尝试各种新鲜的玩法。idareX采取资深玩家带新玩家的形式来进行活动，一些活动还必须穿戴专业护具和工作人员在场保护，以确保新玩家的安全性。“部分危险系数较高的活动，我们会给玩家购买保险，让玩家能够无忧无虑地去玩这个活动”，张婷说。
依靠内容打动玩家和创投人
idareX团队里并没有形成一个特定对外宣传部门。用张婷的话来说，idareX里都是一群技术控。没有华丽的包装，也没有夸张的宣传。idareX的发展依赖于玩家之间的口口相传以及自发的转载。张婷说：“我们只有把活动和内容做好，让大家对这个平台有认可，他们才会自然而然去宣传这个平台。”
2014年11月23日一则“敢玩大挑战：跑男2分24秒竞速北京地铁”的视频引爆各大视频网站，在优酷录得的点击量超过168万次。敢玩团队名声大噪。张婷认为其实拍摄这个视频的初衷并没有刻意去引起广泛的传播，而是把重心放在了“玩”上。他们通常会搜集一些国内外的酷玩视频，放到网站上，有些国内的玩家觉得自己可以来挑战这个极限，便会与idareX取得联系，由他们共同来完成这个挑战。
“我们希望通过自己的努力，鼓励大家勇敢的走出去，实现他们原本觉得无法实现的东西”，张婷说。
idareX的内容不仅吸引了很多粉丝，也吸引了创投公司的关注。“跟投资人谈融资并非靠你的口才或者包装去吸引他们的。这更多的是要遇到对的人。因为我们是做着一个极端。我们的平台在国内没有人做过。投资人会觉得没有一个参照物，不知道你未来会发展成怎么样，就不一定会投资你。但是如果他以前是接触过类似的酷玩活动的，他就会知道，这是一个很大的、尚未被开发的市场，那就会一拍即合。”目前，idareX得到了IDG的400万天使轮融资。
张婷说：“idareX有一种魔力，那就是接触过idareX的玩家，后来都会成为idareX的粉丝，甚至会成为我们的员工。”有个玩滑翔伞的玩家，在一次活动中接触了idareX，从那之后，凡是有idareX的活动她都会带着自己的好朋友参加。有些玩家甚至当起了志愿者。idareX举办活动的时候，他们也会前去帮忙。idareX与玩家之间的关系不像客户与商家的关系，而更像是一种朋友之间的情谊。
