近日自适应学习市场很火，DreamBox拿千万美元融资，Knewton推出智能开放学习系统，称要做“空中机器人辅导员”。
9月1日消息，近日自适应学习平台DreamBox Learning获得B轮1000万美元融资，该轮投资由Owl Ventures领投，Tao Capital Partners跟投。
DreamBox方面表示，这笔融资将用于下一代智能自适应平台的升级，每小时内每个学生储存50000个数据以上，最终希望培养学生对于数学概念的理解。此外，该笔资金将用于加快产品创新，将学生的学习数据及时传送到教师以及区域管理者处，并将扩展到服务内容，包括增强其教育框架以及为地区和州报告学生数据等功能。
除此之外，近日另一个自适应教育技术公司Knewton也推出了自己的开放内容数字学习系统：一个向所有人免费提供自适应、个性化学习服务的新平台。
目前推出的开放内容学习平台还邀请了教师、学生家长和学生注册帐号，这些用户都可在平台上浏览教学文本、视频课并进行在线小测试和评价。Knewton将收录这些内容并“转换”为免费的、自适应的补充课程。
Knewton称，其技术能监控学生的学习情况，然后调整内容难度至合适的水平并改变媒体格式。用户的平台使用次数越多，预测就能越精确。Knewton创始人和CEO何塞·费雷拉(Jose Ferreira)称新的平台为“友好的空中机器人辅导员”，是专为使用“数百万学生联合匿名数据力量，找到教授任何资料的完美战略”而设计。
前者DreamBox成立于2006年，目前支持PC和iPad端，提供从幼儿园到小学五年级的在线学习服务，并能够实现自适应学习，根据学生的个体情况不同，根据算法为学生提供适合的数学课程等。在机器学习技术的支持下，每个学生的行为都可以被记录下来，并以此作为学生基础数学理解能力的依据。以这样的方式，为数亿百万计的学生提个性化的学习路径，每一个针对学生的特殊需求给出不同的方案。
从2011年以来，Dreambox的学生已经由去年同期增加了一倍，目前，有150万活跃学生用户，在2014-15学年，DreamBox为哥伦比亚州超过50个周提供了K8阶段的150万节课程。
后者Knewton成立于2008年，总部位于纽约，核心技术是适配学习技术，通过数据收集、推断及建议三部曲来提供个性化的教学。2013年底，Knewton获得5100万美元融资。此前 8月19日，一起作业网宣布与Knewton达成伙伴合作协议，将共同开发中国K12教育的个性化学习产品，一起作业将把Knewton的个性化数据分析技术运用到自己的英语教学产品中。同时今年7月中旬，日本的智能教务系统提供商“Classi”也宣布与“Knewton”达成合作协议，为自己的用户提供基于Knewton自适应系统的学习内容。
自适应学习是一种互联网环境下的因材施教，可以为不同的学生用户提供不同的个性化学习解决方案，未来必然是大势所趋，所以也会受到市场和资本的青睐，同时也必将吸引更多的市场进入者。
