宫外孕患者往往需要住院观察、诊断和治疗，所产生的费用主要包括除基本床位和护理费用外的检查和治疗。
以上海三甲医院为例，基本床位费（48元/天）、诊疗费（25元/天）和护理费按天数收取，与住院时间长短，护理级别根据病情需要收费，略有不同。
- 初级保健38元/天，二级保健28元/天。总检查费用约1500元，以及整个诊疗过程中多次复诊和超声检查的费用。

为什么会宫外孕？
1. 男人在经期需要做爱。女人的宫颈在性生活时十分松弛。这时抵抗力降低，容易被细菌、病毒侵入。在强迫性行为过程中，细菌和病毒可能会进入子宫，从而导致输卵管炎。轻度输卵管炎会使管腔内部空间变窄，影响输卵管的蠕动。精子与卵子结合后形成的受精卵在转移过程中没有一定的支撑，在运动受阻时会随意停留。此外，当输卵管完全阻塞时，可诱发宫外孕或不孕。
2、没有做好避孕工作。长期使用避孕药会影响孕激素和雌激素水平、输卵管壁运动和纤毛活动减少。当荷尔蒙失调时，受精卵不能正常运输到子宫并着床于输卵管，导致宫外孕。另外，当意外怀孕发生时，有些人使用人工流产终止妊娠，这会对子宫内膜和宫腔造成损害，最终诱发宫外孕。
宫外孕有哪些危害？
1. 自发几率很高。自发性宫外孕的机率很高，一旦女性宫外孕，即使第一次妈妈平安度过，下一次也大概率会再次出现这种情况。这会增加女性的压力，使再次怀孕变得困难。
2. 危及生命。当宫外孕的母亲变得严重时，可能会危及自己的生命。资料显示，大量女性在住院期间因宫外孕一直处于昏迷状态，状态变得非常糟糕，身体免疫力不断下降。一旦治疗不及时，随时都会有生命危险。
