1.The cuttlefish, known scientifically as Sepia officinalis, is a small, sophisticated marine creature belonging to the cephalopod family, which includes octopuses, squid, and nautiluses.
2. The cuttlefish is likely to be found in the warmer ocean waters of the eastern Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea, from Spain to Greece. It typically lives at depths of around 100 metres and spends most of its time hiding in crevices and beneath rocks.
